Sun Upon Diamonds

I glance out the window
And my eyes are met
With a spectacular sight
Diamonds everywhere
Upon the ground
Shimmering in the brilliance
Of the sun's morning rays
Cast upon the flawless blanket
Of solid fluidness
Uninterrupted and glistening
Glorious, beautiful
A treat for my eyes
And oh so welcomed
This morning
